MERCURIUS PRIZE TO GIUSEPPE TORNATORE
On September 7, 2023, the Mercurius Prize Artistic Director, Chiara Tozzi, met with film director Giuseppe Tornatore to present to him the Mercurius Prize for his film, A Pure Formality. This was to follow up on the announcement of the award at the 1st Edition of the Film and Analytical Psychology Conference in Belgrade on June 2-4, 2023, which he was unable to attend. The Mercurius Prize award ceremony was held privately in Mr. Tornatore’s office.
On this occasion, Mr. Tornatore expressed his gratitude to the Mercurius Prize Committee, and said that he appreciated very much both the Mercurius Prize plaque and the Mercurius Prize Certificate, including the reasons for the award.
